Supporting motor skills in a variety of ways during practicing and teaching

Workshops on motor skills

The workshops convey and deepen ideas on how motor skills can be promoted in a clever way during practice and teaching. They have different focal points:

WORKSHOP 1: „Fine motor skills“

The workshop focuses on deepening the exercises developed in the mini-subscription Fine Motor Skills and Balance with polystyrene beads for the left and right hand, for practising and teaching. Supplementary ideas that also support fine motor skills will be presented.

  1. Target group: Practitioners and teachers
  2. Duration: 90 minutes
  3. Participation requirements: Anyone who has access to the mini subscription Fine Motor Skills and Balance and has had some initial experience can participate.
  4. Group size: max. 5 participants

WORKSHOP 2: „Motor skills through improved balance“

This workshop focuses on how motor skills can be supported by improving balance in specific situations when playing. The emphasis is on the high strings. All instrument groups are welcome to participate if interested. The transfer to other instruments will also be discussed.

  1. Target group: Teachers
  2. Duration: 90 minutes
  3. Group size: max. 5 participants
