Learn, transfer and teach LHP practice technique in a targeted manner

The workshops teach the targeted learning, transfer and teaching of left-hand pizzicato (LHP) as a practicing technique and have different focal points:

WORKSHOP 1: „LHP workshop on the booklet/subscription“

The workshop focuses on daily application, integration into one’s own practice and/or teaching, and the transfer of the technique to passages from different pieces

  1. Target group: Teachers
  2. Duration: 90 minutes
  3. Participation requirements:
  4. Anyone who owns the Pizzicato world booklet, has subscribed to the mini subscription LHP practice technique or has downloaded the free original exercises and has had their first experiences with the LHP practicing technique can participate.
  5. Group size: max. 5 participants

WORKSHOP 2: „LHP in beginners‘ lessons“

This workshop focuses on how the LHP practicing technique can be used and be introduced in beginners‘ lessons.

  1. Target group: Teachers
  2. Duration: 90 minutes
  3. Participation requirements: Anyone who owns the Pizzicato world booklet, has subscribed to the mini subscription LHP practice technique or has downloaded the free original exercises, has had their first experiences with the LHP practicing technique and is already applying it confidently.can participate.
  4. Group size: max. 4 participants

WORKSHOP 3: „LHP Masterclass“

This workshop focuses solely on your own practice, deepening your technique and applying it flexibly to individual passages from works.

  1. Target group: Practitioners
  2. Duration: 90 minutes
  3. Participation requirements: Anyone who owns the Pizzicato world booklet, has subscribed to the mini subscription LHP practice technique or has downloaded the free original exercises, has had their first experiences with the LHP practicing technique and is already applying it confidently.can participate. Recommendation: attend Workshop 1 beforehand and work through the mini-subscription ‘Improve with left’.
  4. Group size: max. 2 participants

Organisational details

As the workshop is also based directly on the questions of the participants, it is assumed that participants:

  • actively contribute with their questions and experiences,
  • are willing to try out exercises together with others and
  • want to participate with audio and video.

In addition to a suitable device (computer, laptop, tablet or similar) for audio and video participation, the following are required
