Course terms and conditions
Scope of application
The course terms and conditions apply to all courses, workshops and further training courses by ema Musik in person (Musikstudio Rhein-Neckar) as well as to workshops and events online (remote) or hybrid (online Music studio).
Registration
Registration is always made in writing. This is done using the online registration form provided for this purpose. At the end of the form you will find all information about data protection and the right of withdrawal, this terms and condition and the General Terms and Conditions. Before submitting the registration form, you must confirm that you have read and agree to the terms and conditions. The registration will not be forwarded to ema Musik until you submit the form at the end.
Admission
We respond to every registration by e-mail. For online workshops and live workshops, the registration confirmation is sent automatically. For participation in music courses, receipt of registration is confirmed. A confirmation of registration will be sent by e-mail at a later date after the received data has been checked. Places are limited and will therefore be allocated according to the number of registrations received. If all places are taken, registrations will be placed on a waiting list. If this is the case, you will be informed individually.
Payment
- For music courses (chamber music cours, music camp, chamber music workshops, MusicPOINT) the following applies: The full course fee must be transferred four weeks before the start of the course, unless otherwise stated in the tender. An invoice with account number will be sent out in good time.
- For live/ in person workshops/training courses of the the following applies: The fee must be transferred 7 days before the start of the course. An invoice with account number will be sent.
- Online workshops are paid for directly when registering in the checkout. The invoice will be sent automatically as a link to the download a few minutes later, even it is a free event.
Accommodation/meals
Accommodation/catering will be organised by the organiser as described in the invitation to tender. The following applies in principle:
- For courses with overnight stays (see advert), accommodation and meals for the duration of the course are included in the course price.
- For courses without overnight stays (see advert), catering is not included for the duration of the course, unless it is explicitly included in the advert.
Participation fees
The amount of the specific participation fee for each course, workshop or event must be taken from the invitation to tender. These are always all-inclusive prices. It is not possible to itemise individual items. If the full programme is not taken up, there can be no partial refund. The participation fee does not include instrument insurance! We recommend that you take out instrument insurance and cancellation insurance separately as well as a personal liability insurance and health insurance.
Consent form
By registering, course participants agree that their data may be used for course organisation purposes. The organiser will not pass on this data to third parties.
By registering, the course participant agrees that his/her data may be used for the organisation of the course. The organiser will not pass on this data to third parties. The organiser has the right to take and use photos and recordings of all kinds for its own purposes (advertising measures, programmes). If someone does not wish to be in pictures or moving images, he/she can make this known in advance. The organiser will then ensure that this person cannot be recognised. In addition, the organiser will ensure that the quality of the photos and moving images is high and that the persons depicted are appropriately staged. The current privacy-policy.

Withdrawal
The following conditions apply to cancellation. In detail:
- Music courses (music camp, chamber music course, chamber music workshop, MusikPOINT): For cancellations made before the registration deadline, 10% of the course fee will be charged. For cancellations made after the registration deadline and up to 12 weeks before the start of the course, 25% of the course fee will be charged. For cancellations between 12 and 8 weeks before the start of the course, 50% of the course fee will be charged. For later cancellations, the full course fee must be paid unless an equivalent replacement can be found.
- Live workshops: Anyone who withdraws their registration no later than 7 days before the start of the workshop is obliged to pay a processing fee of 20% of the participation fee. In the event of later withdrawal, the full fees must be paid unless a replacement can be found.
- Online events: Cancellation of online events is possible up to 4 days before the start of the event. The participation fees will be refunded minus a system fee of 10%. After that, the full fees will be charged unless a replacement can be found.
Cancellations must always be submitted in writing. The postmark or the date of the e-mail shall apply.
